Migration from v3.X (Classic) to v4.X (NetWeaver) was created by Serge Volkov
Support of the RFC library will be
stopped by SAP after 31 March 2016
.
Due to principal changes in API between the Classic and NetWeaver SAP RFC libraries, API of Connect for SAP got some changes also. It means that applications using Connect for SAP have to be updated to the changes.
The migration of users’ applications can significantly be simplified by usage of "DFM Converter". It is a special tool for automatic replacing of “old” code with “new” (as far as possible).
The tool can be found in the directory <SAPx>\Refactoring\.
