Company
We build software that has to work the first time — and keep working for decades.
For more than thirty years we have engineered the systems behind Switzerland’s nuclear facilities, enterprise data and military command and control. Our first nuclear system went live in 1989. It is still in service.
Three mission areas
- Nuclear industry — ISRAM, Perdos and CIS: radioactive waste, personal dosimetry and plant chemistry, in service at every Swiss nuclear power plant, ZWILAG, PSI and NAGRA.
- Enterprise data — Safyr finds the metadata inside SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards, developed with our partner Silwood Technology.
- Defence & security — map.army, symbol.army, MSS and MilX: military symbology, mission planning and data exchange, used by more than 50 defence customers and integrators.
One way of building
Every gs-soft system stands on MetaBase, our own model-driven platform. One data layer, one security model, one way of reporting and translating. It is the reason our systems can be maintained and extended for decades — and why our engineers spend their time on capability, not plumbing.
One team, start to finish
Analysis, build, integration and long-term support come from the same engineers, in Aarau. Our quality management has been ISO 9001 certified since 2001.
Beyond products
We also build bespoke systems for organisations that cannot afford downtime — among them CIC, a private-banking CRM for Commerzbank, and Aprico, workforce planning across projects and sites for Alstom / GE.
